Unfortunately common sense is not very common anymore.

So you are a Mark Twain fan also. I love his quotes!:56da64af91f92_23_11_602:

It was money given to a pastor, correct?  Well, church members have been giving to their pastors for centuries and finally, someone was offering them a chance to get something back out of it.  What did they have to lose?

My partner who is a teacher told me that her co-teachers were suggesting that she tell me to invest in Bitcoin... That was in November last year when Bitcoin was skyrocketing still. I told her no way and suggested she advise her friends to stay away too. As we all know, it crashed to less than $5,000 after nearing $20,000 shortly thereafter.

She also told me that her sister and co-teachers were urging her to invest (sorry...donate - to the KAPA "ministery"). I hate the idea of an investment scam hiding behind a religious facade. They all think it is legitimate - as several of you have already said - just because it is for a religion (that none of them even shares!).

Getting rich quick seems to be part of the culture here and I find it depressing to see - again, as someone else has already said - the poorest to be the most gullible? My partner told me that, oh...so and so made millions in KAPA... but he was one of the first!

Lastly, a slight diversion here - has anyone considered the U.S. Social Security System? It seems to be built as perhaps the biggest Ponzi scheme ever created.

Nobody else from Canada has given it a thought?  Your flag says you are from Canada.  Where are you really from?

As originally envisioned and chartered it wasn't, you got what you paid in.

But the politicians changed that...…..
