Sounds like you're not so far from where I spent a happy 10 years after moving from Scotland, I was in Chorley.  Mainly Liverpool fans around me, but the bloke opposite was a Man U fan so that was even worse!

Next town south, Bolton. Where I was brought up in a rough council estate, many Man united fans who I hate. Probably why I support Man City even though Bolton Wanderers are my club I watched when my Brother-in- law played for them.

I stayed in Farnworth for a couple of months and then we moved to Horwich before Chorley.  Good times and good people in and around Bolton and in fact the NW in general

I hate MU with a passion, all Leeds fans support 2 teams Leeds and whoever is playing the scum as we call them, they call us the same.
