Odd isn't it, how our supposedly SHARED income/assets only seem to go in one direction in these marriages though, eh.  :89:

There are two types of assets - her money and "our" money.:hystery:

I know Ems loves you Steve and she is a good person maybe this will open her eyes. I do hope the money is returned.

I'll be direct Steve - limiting your partner's access to money etc etc isn't the answer IMO. The fault lies with your partner and you have to be brutally honest with her - tell her to get it sorted or else.

Or else what?  If she leaves I bet she takes half his assets anyway.  They live in UK so he's screwed.

Emma has access to all the accounts and savings , but because I pay all the bills I know what comes in and what goes out, yes she has a allowance, you are right the blame lies with Emma , but she is a Filipino and she still carries the guilt she has been feed by her sisters, brutally honest I am and it will be sorted one way or another.

Like I have said the money is for the house to be finish , if the money is not returned then the family house stays the way it is, yes it will all be my fault and the family will fall out with me and again will not talk to Emma again , the sisters partners will send abusive messages when they are drunk and on and on it will go.

I married Emma not the family, I will help when I feel it is needed, but I will refuse to help if there are lies or no one else is prepared to help either, yes I have been caught out before a few times before and I have learnt, just hope Emma is learning too, we shall see.

She is one in a million and I love her as much as she loves me, I can see the frustration and anger in her face , 35 years living with the family and being the youngest sister and also working and caring for the sisters children the claws are buried deep inside her.

The money well it’s the  principle thing in my eyes , West meets East in what’s right or what’s wrong
