There's a lot of non-seniors in that line.

I bet there are also a lot of very smart, very capable, non-seniors who got themselves a wheelchair and let the wife push.  In Vancouver that gets us through the nexus line for free.  I bet similar strategy works everywhere.

The article I read recently said it was more about restricting excessive use leading to organ damage (not suicide) by limiting the pack size and requiring ID for purchasing larger amounts.

For the cold and flu medicine that I purchased here in Aus, the reason for requiring government ID and proof of where you are living is because of the manufacture of methamphetamine. I lived here about 10 years ago and more, bad people were going into pharmacies and freely buying bulk quantities of these medicines.

The most common precursor chemicals are pseudoephedrine and ephedrine, which are used as decongestants in various cold-and-flu medications.

Safe travels mate.

They send all the families with kids over there.  Extremely unorganized.

At Mcd in Sydney right now.  The worst travel day of my life is almost over.  More later.
