Don’t forget to add the standing charge for the electric and gas per day

The average daily standing charge cap is 46p for electricity and 28p for gas, for customers on default tariffs with typical usage paying by direct debit

In the Philippines we have a system loss charge which can be up to 8.5% per month.
So we pay for illegal connections.

Here in the Philippines we have a novel way of radically reducing electricity bills. It doesn't matter whether you're wealthy or poor.

This method is foolproof and has been used regularly for decades. It's known by the general name "Brown out" although in a lot of cases a better description would be "Black out"

In such cases, if you are fortunate to be able to generate your own electricity, you'll find the cost per KWh is significantly more than here or the YUK.
