I like good tacos. Taco Bell is not that good but better than none. I would like fresh made corn tortillas and I would make my own tacos.

As a person who lived in S California, I don't doubt you could get some top quality tacos.

Nothing beats the Mexican food in So-cal - but - when in the area, try

the VFW post in Angeles City. Best tacos I've had since being back home years ago.

This is not an advert - just fact..

Will have to try it out when I am there. Around here, it's a little run down hole in the wall in a farming town about an hour away. Taquitos al vapor. Mmmmm

I suppose they make up for the small loss with volume and happy satisfied customers.

That's how I feel. I like S & R pizza. I like Yakimix restaurant, too. Free sodas and tea.

Fountain Coke refills only cost 12 cents which makes soda one of the items with the largest profit margin. The same could be said for iced tea or coffee. What restaurants hate is for people to drink water with their meal.

If it is free water, I can understand that.

I was referring to free water not bottled water.

You would not guess that from service in Philippines.  Its close to impossible to get someone to take your drink order because they want to only come one time and take your drink order with your food order and then they don't want to bring the drinks until you have the food in front of you.  Plus, if you finish your drink, pray for a waiter or waitress to be close enough to see you stand on your head and wave the empty because they definitely hate to bring more drinks.  It means they have to change the bill and actually work.  But they smile when they get a tip, nonetheless.
