A bigger bill means a bigger tip for the server

The servers are not used to tips here in the PI.

I leave one anyway. My wife would frown on it, now she accepts it.

I even tip the barber.

I even tip the taxi driver if he is courteous and doesn't try to take me down side streets to "avoid traffic".

A tip usually leads to good or better service next time around.

There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.

Actually, until retired, and in some cases after retirement, I would think and have experienced that there's "nothing more expensive" than a free lunch (at the end of the day).:whistling:

:huh-huh: If it's FREE, then everything else costs you.

Your a good man Gratefuled! The tip doesn't have to be large but shows appreciation for the servers effort

I started by carrying a pocket pack of tissues for emergencies like that.  I have evolved to carrying 2 packs of tissues (usually someone 'borrows' some) and a handkerchief to use as a table napkin.  It works.

I am married to someone who never leaves home without hand sanitizers and wet naps.  Anytime she touches anything that is borderline questionable, out come the wipes or the squeeze bottle.  She carries some tissue too, but that's more my department.

Our wives must think alike. Mine was a nurse and is very careful. I'm used to it. I just stick out both hands for her to squeeze some hand sanitizer or alcohol on them.

As a person who lived in S California, I don't doubt you could get some top quality tacos.

Yes, exactly. :cornflakes:

At least once a day if you are lucky.

It's what a lot of expats look forward to.  A good BM.

Kamoteng kahoy has a good amount of fiber. But I've heard of how they make it there....I guess I will have to try and make my own opinion of it.
