Thanks for the information. My problem is that there is nobody in USA who will ship anything to me anyway except my mail handling company. So far, it's not an issue because I was back there last year and brought whatever I needed back with me in my luggage. But, if I need anything shipped here that is big or heavy or both...that may become a problem. So I think I just need to be creative in finding whatever I need here, or do without... Lazada, Shoppee and AliExpress all have suppliers who ship from China. They are often very quick and cheap. I could not find a piece for my Makita power tool in Dumaguete so I went to Shoppee and had 2 of the same part shipped from China in 10 days at a total cost of 200 pesos including shippine. A half dozen years back I had a friend, may he R.I.P, who frequently sent boxes from himself in the US to himself in the Philippines and his name does not sound Filipino in the slightest.
