It seems that even after 3 or 4 or 5 more weeks, people will be required to wear a mask in public,

They are in Cebu and probably the rest of the Philippines.

But the traffic line up was 1 and a half hours (no joke) to get in to shop.

Attached is a pic of the line up at Krispy Kreme. It starts at the top left along the building and exits at the bottom pick up.

Hope this opens up soon! Wife is stuck in the Philippines and I'm stuck in Chicago. Have plenty of mask though because I work for an automotive paint company.

I'm still waiting for my COVID-19 masks to arrive by post. It seems that even after 3 or 4 or 5 more weeks, people will be required to wear a mask in public, and there's none to be found in the stores... only online sites are making them available.

We have a strict lockdown weekend here. Nobody can go out, even for grocery shopping. I suppose dire emergencies would be OK. But, the local shopping mall is open. That simply doesn't help and is just the kind of thing local officials should be clamping down on. Same mall remained fully operational for the 1st week of lockdown as well.

We're okay.

My Mrs has made some out of our boy's old nappy/diaper liners.

Hope she washed them first :hystery:

Okay... maybe this is a stupid question? So how is anyone expected to get food to eat or to shop in the open mall if not permitted to go out? This sounds more nonsensical than the usual regulations.

The nonsense is a mall opening when we are in a total lockdown.  The total lockdown is for the weekend only (as i said in my post) - people knew in advance, or should have, so were expected to buy enough food to get them over the weekend.

Personally, I don't think it's too much to ask.
