A bit like the SM supermarket ones here.  To be fair, we are less likely to be carrying them any distance than we would have back in the old days before most folk had cars.

I bring a heavy-duty bag because the brown bags provided by supermarkets are very thin.  Good for one or two kilos only, provided there are no sharp edges.  They sometimes offer recycled cardboard boxes tied in string, but these are only good if you have a waiting car or plan to take a taxi.

Pinoys ability to smile and laugh, while some only have P50 or less in their pocket. That attitude I personally admire so much.

Some might not have anything, still ... somehow their smile and laughter are usually there.

Makes a 'spoiled rich' foreigner feel humble, and blessed.

2. How Pinoys tolerate foreigners in their country. Not all foreigners behave their best, too many examples of that in the news.

3. Pinoys patience: waiting for many hours to see the doctor, waiting in ATM lines with 50-100 people ahead of them, waiting in bank branches for an hour, waiting in gridlock traffic. Patience all the way.
