Some in Manila, some in Subic, five in China and the rest here in the UK That's not counting the house I built for her in Bataan, of course, or her college education, but with Filipinas that is par for the course. . The main thing is I got my Decree Absolute a month ago, and I can go and do it all again! I can't understand how that happens after so long but it is a depressing reality. Rather than the true chaperone I feel it's more to protect themselves against Chiz Miz which is all so important for them. Unfortunately this can and often does last a long time. The good thing in this situation is it protects us against gossip, or worse, as well. Heck I usually invite a friend too, at least until I know her better and then only one chaperon of either her or my choosing. That way no one can say I was inappropriate in anything I said or did.
