I would not cross the road for a "mestiza" type but I don't need to because fifty Filipinos will!
Sorry for my ignorance but what is a Mestiza?

Lighter skinned and more Euro or white featured from how it has been explained to me.

See this Wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_mestizo

I hope that doesn't violate any policies.

We try not to use Wikipedia on here...

It keeps showing us just how wrong we are on everything!

Mestiza -- Spanish terminology?

Halo-halo (mix-mix)......any foreign blood blended into the Filipino people and the offsprings may have some features

passed on by the foreigner (nose, skin tones, bone structure).  Thank god, I'm no longer in the gene pool (only have

a few swimmers left), otherwise the carabao species will get uglier......he, he.

I get no respect sometimes.......

We (dogs) do tend to favor the more exotic! If we were drawn to Western looks, I venture the BI would have a lot less business.

Olongapo is a great place for "mixtures" of all kinds - Filipina mother and father's genes from just about anywhere.

For a time there was a waitress at Bunker Bob's whose father I guessed must have been Samoan. I did ask her for a picture but K's hackles rose....

I have to second Olongapo for diversity... Curtesy of the US Navy of course!
