L found some T-bone steak at a local Lisa Meats - frozen - and bought a couple of them - about 1 1/2 inch thick. They were expensive - maybe US$7-8/pound - but very tasty and very tender... My friend insisted we go to Pizza Hut, mainly because it was the cheapest pizza around (he is more Canadian than me, okay?). We go up to the counter and the bright teenager there meets us. I ask, "What size pizzas to you have?" She replied, "Only one size, sir... It's LARGE!" I looked at the cooking pan sample hanging on the wall behind her (it was maybe 12 inches diameter). Lisa Meats here in Davao sells frozen T-bone steaks - I think they are the best you can get in this city. L bought some for a treat for us and they were about P700/kg.
