Say your 66, and get a negative test, does that make you less vulnerable so you should be allowed to travel around?

Everyone should be allowed to travel around if they want, anyone who feels vulnerable should stay home.

It's time for forced lockdowns to end, this is the gov finally doing something right.

The key thing we want is for them to lift the ridiculous restrictions on our kids.

Right, as I said that's the senseless part.

Probably so, but would you leave it to the medical profession instead?

Medical professionals tend to follow the Hippocratic oath and are peer reviewed but many times they are over ruled by politicians who seam to think they know better than the real experts.  The politicians are unaccountable but medical experts aren't, maybe this would focus the attention where it is required. The mandatory RT-PCR test being one example. There's so many peer reviewed studies now highlighting they are only of use when testing individuals with symptoms yet politicians especially here make everyone get one when the vast majority of locals can't afford them so they get stranded wherever they are.

I say no to the "medical dictatorship".

"Like in a concentration camp – the ability of subordinates to transform themselves into “bare life” grants the authorities a dictatorship of extreme violence. The more society fears for its life, the more brutal and despotic authorities become, nurtured by that fear."

I'm afraid I wouldn't have much faith in medical professionals to deliver an efficient and effective pandemic programme based on everything I'm reading coming out of the UK.

Just to clarify, I would not hand over management of the pandemic to medical professionals either.  I just don't think their specialist skillset is suited to developing and implementing general policies and procedures.

None are accountable, and their agenda is more about controlling the people than serving them. The CDC, the WHO, the medical "experts" and NGOs, all of them are funded by Bill Gates and other World Bank globalists, it's no coincidence that these "experts" all dismissed the lab leak theory:

Quote

The guy who was orchestrating research on bat coronaviruses at the lab in Wuhan corralled other scientists, with similar professional interests, into making a declaration to the effect that anyone who mentions the (obvious) possibility that the pandemic (which started in Wuhan) might have a connection to this research could only be doing so with bad intentions.

In today’s universities speech can be very costly. Careers can be destroyed for stepping out of line. Any virologist who challenges the community’s declared view risks having his next grant application turned down by the panel of fellow virologists that advises the government grant distribution agency.

With the centralisation and bureaucratisation of scientific funding, defection from a well-institutionalised consensus is even more costly now

Hell NO!

It is my considered opinion that all these medical "professionals" are the same eggheads who wore glasses, pocket protectors, got straight A's and had bad haircuts in high school who we used to beat up on the play ground and steal their lunch money.

They are now getting their revenge :hystery:

I didn't really want to get into specifics but you've covered a few of them there!

We'd be living in a permanent state of lockdown with no hope of ever being able to mix socially and masks would be permanent fixtures on our ugly mugs (actually, that last point may not be so bad!)  And we'd have developed a fine range of vaccines but they'd never make it into anyone's body.

That is as polite as I can say it.

To add insult to injury, I just saw on cnn phil. that part of the reason that a lot of the power plants are shutting down is that due to contracts maintenance it to be done by foreign personnel and they are not being let in or are refusing to undergo mandated quarantine.

Again down to political interference. When you have Government scientists saying one thing then getting pulled in for a brief with politicians then coming out with something else you know they are being leaned on.

Medical experts should publicly announce their intentions after being peer reviewed then the politicians and civil servants should provide the funding and organisation to make it happen.

As it is we are seeing politicians doing the opposites of each other just to prove the opposition wrong.  The US with their different State Health boards and the UK with Westminster and Scotland with the SNP. Here we have the palace say one thing, the Generals something else and the LGU tossing a coin in the air.
