I have booked a flight (well 2 of them) on the 5th April.

Was the Aus to Phil flight a reasonable price?

When I get there it will be on a tourist visa and we'll look at the 13A later on.

I think you have to register to travel to CDO?

I thought so... one way -: Bendigo to Sydney then Sydney to Manila with Qantas economy under $900 AU.

I will have to buy a throw away ticket as well on top of that.

Just use your gf or someones number.

I can do that yes, I was more concerned that the categories for the web site that the airline link sent me to only allow 'essential travel' for foreigers (and it lists the reasons).  A returning resident of one of the CDO baranguys is a reason but I'd have to prove I was a resident and I haven't been there for over 2 years.

I have more research to do on this one.

It'll be interesting if they stick to the initial 30 days visa free then don't allow extensions.

I just watched a video from The Philippina Pea and she was talking to the Visa Consultancy Agent she has interviewed before.  He said that there were no changes announced for changes to the visa extensions but that they recommend people wanting to stay longer time should seek a different visa once in the Philippines.

So... who knows *shrug*.

If you know Geoff, when does qantas start flying and another thing, with the opening of the boarders, I assume, visas will revert back to normal, be careful your not slugged with penalty rates for overstaying. :stop_80_anim_gif:

The first Qantas flight to Manila is on the 28th March.

Not sure what those apps are for, I only had to show the QR code for the One Health Pass app. The OHP app only gives access up to 3 days before departure. When entering your data it asks for both your quarantine hotel info as well as the info about your final destination (where you’re supposed to self quarantine). I’m not sure if they’ll update or even require the OHP app once the entry rules change.

Yeah I heard that, do you think that date will come forward now the boarders are open?
