Well their acting seems pretty normal working style in any field to me.For example, having worked in sales, have done my own share of acting...reading a potential clients' moods, wants, personality and adjusting my persona and presentation accordingly.

Exactly, they are people with the same insecurities, problems, etc as anyone else, and the guy who said "bargirls are the best actresses he's ever seen in his life" needs to watch a few movies (eg, Black Swan), although I thought I saw Natalie Portman at one of those places once.

Yeah Lee, the update on Paol and his bar girl wife didn't surprise me at all! He just paid the price for being too forgiving and trusting in the beginning of their relationship on-line! I will go along with someone known to your friends or family, but face to face does not guarantee a man to not end up with a bargirl or a bad girl, since I have seen some of the same bargirls walking around SM and Ayala shopping and at the internet cafes there, and looking for their fish to hook. So to me dating online or in person, is a matter of perception, those with good intuitions, awareness and ability to be able to read between the lines, and look beyond the beauty, can find themselves a good girl in any type of dating. One friend has recently found himself a good lady online, so I know it can be done, and I believe it is an option for those who may not be good at picking up women in public, or those who are both out of the country and in the country and want to line up some prospects ahead of time. As for introductions, they can be a can of worms for those who do the intro, and I know that I will no longer be one of those that does the introductions, because I would hate to end up responsible if the girl turns our bad, or if the man turns out to be a no good dirt bag, as some I have introduced did, and some who I thought were normal men and friends, did so by hiding their true colors and turned out to be lowlife men who treated their ladies improperly by my standards. So can an X-barfirl end up a good wife, maybe some have and the men just never knew of their pasts, yet some marriages that I have seen that broke up, it sure seemed to me that the girls were loose and money hungry, so maybe those girls were in the life before the men met them. :unsure:

Dealing with bar girls...Well i lived 10 years in Thailand, happily married but learned to advise friends that came over about how to handle this kind of encounters, 2 sentences come to mind :1. You can take a girl out of the bar, but you cannot take the bar out of her !2. If you pay a girl, it is that she leaves in the morning ! There are exeptions to every rule and i know happy guys with now happy great house wifes that had a troubled or hot past ! Be carefull with gambling women as well !You can go on with hundreds of saying such as you cannot straighten old bent wood...At the end it comes down to how both of this 2 behave with each other due to x y z and how they can cope with it !

Fish to hook is a term that is used, for when all women find a man, my wife uses the term all the time, she hooked me. As for someone who only goes for a beer with you a couple of times, before I met you, there were party after party where I attended at a few of the different bars in Cebu, and I spent time buying drinks for a few ladies and talking to them while pumping them for information, which is the most I ever wished to get out of any of them. So if you read my points in past posts, once that life gets embedded into them, no pun intended, it is pretty hard for them to go back to a normal boring life, but as we all know, there are exceptions to the rule, I just have not met any yet. Oh, and one time after Paul's Ancienrocka's bachelor party, and having sat with a number of girls at different bars we attended while walking down the streets to the next bar after the next, and picking quite a few of their brains for info, some of those same girls actually said hello to me in the mall the following day and a few days after that, so I guess I left a lasting impression because maybe I was one of the few they could not have with their charms, and yes I did see others after that and again and again. In fact one time at Netopia on the top floor of SM a few of them who were waiting for a computer walked up to me and said hi and one even joked and asked if I would buy her a drink while she had to wait. I am just happy that there were no bars close by, because I just laughed it off. It’s well known some Filipinas will hook-up with an older Filipino man to fund their college education. I don’t know how common this is but it seems gals that do it more or less get a moral “pass” to do so.
